Venezuela at Olympics

The National Olympic Committee for Venezuela was founded and recognized by the International Olympics Committee (IOC) in 1935. The nation first sent its athletes at the Olympic Games in 1948. Venezuela has competed in every Summer Olympic Games since then. Venezuelan athletes have won medals in boxing, fencing, taekwondo, athletics, shooting, swimming and weightlifting with boxing being the most successful sport.
