How to Reach
Among all Olympic venues in Beijing, the Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park is located farthest away from the central Olympic area. For ensuring smooth transportation for athletes and spectators, Shunyi District has paved a new road-Baima Lu. The new road has enabled athletes to arrive at the venue within 30 minutes. Spectators with tickets can board a free shuttle bus from there.

When you exit on to Baima Lu from the Jing-Cheng Expressway, it would take only 15 minutes to reach the Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park. If you are in a car, the total journey is only 20 minutes. When the Olympic Games ar on, Baima Lu will be a dedicated Olympic traffic route. So one should fear any kind of traffic related problem.

Parking Lots
Four parking lots have been constructed in the park's surrounding areas. Each parking lot could hold over 200 mid-size cars and over 100 small cars. From these parking lots, you could board a shuttle bus for the park.

Post Olympics
When 2008 Olympics culminate, the park will be converted into a swimming and recreation resort, serving the residents of Beijing and tourists.

Prior to Olympics
Even before the Olympics began, the Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park hosted the World Junior Rowing Championships, China Open Canoe/Kayak Slalom and China Canoe/Kayak Flatwater Open, all held in August, 2007, as part of the "Good Luck Beijing" series of sporting events.
