Armenia at Olympics

Armenia first participated at the Summer Olympic Games as an independent country in 1994. Since then, the nation has sent athletes to participate in every Summer Olympic Games. Prior to Armenia's independence, its athletes participated as part of the Soviet Union team (1952 to 1988) and after the break-up of the former Soviet Union, Armenia participated as a part of the Unified Team in the 1992 Games.
