Czech Republic at Olympics
The Czech Republic's first participation at the Olympic Games as an independent nation was in 1994. The nation has since then taken part in every Summer Olympic Games and Winter Olympic Games. Prior to the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, athletes from Czech Republic had competed as Czechoslovakia and earlier as Bohemia. Sports like canoeing, athletics and shooting have been the top medal-producing sports for Czech athletes.
