Nigeria at Olympics
The National Olympic Committee for Nigeria (The Nigeria Olympic Committee) was founded in 1951. The nation first participated in the Olympic Games in 1952. Nigeria has sent athletes to participate in every Summer Olympic Games since then, except for the 1976 Summer Olympics. Nigerian athletes have won most of their medals in athletics and boxing.
