Zimbabwe at Olympics
The National Olympic Committee for Zimbabwe was founded in 1934 and recognized by the IOC in 1980. Zimbabwe sent its athletes for the first time at the Olympic Games under its current name in 1980. It has competed in every Summer Olympic Games since then. Earlier, it participated at the Olympic Games under the name of Rhodesia in 1928, 1960 and 1964.
