Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium

Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium is one of the stadiums in China which are being used for hosting football preliminaries during the Olympics 2008, the 29th Olympics. The multi-use stadium lies within Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Centre on the Hebei Avenue in Qinhuangdao, China.

Architecture
Qinhuangdao Sports Center Stadium has an imposing appearance with sailboat-shaped eaves. All and sundry who have visited the stadium have praised it for its impressive appearance. The drainage system of the stadium works efficiently and there is no problem if rain occurs. The pitch is good and the players like training and playing here. The spectator stands have been equipped with comfortable seats giving the visitors a nice experience while in the stadium. Every seat row at the stands has comfortable height difference providing the spectators uninterrupted view.

Facilities
The stadium has all necessary facilities and every need of the spectators has been taken care of. The stands are air-conditioned and parking facilities are also pretty good. Reaching the stadium is also easy. One could take intra city buses for reaching the place or hire taxis. You could use your own transport too. Easily visible signboards have been installed at the routes approaching the stadium, enabling you to get to the stadium without any hindrance.

Statistics
The construction of the stadium started in May 2002 and completed on July 30, 2004. Having the area of 168,000 square meters, the Olympic-standard stadium has a seating capacity of 33,600, 0.2% of which are reserved for the disabled persons.

Pre Olympics Events
As a part of the preparation for the Olympics 2008, Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium has hosted some matches of International Women's Soccer Invitational Tournament. The tournament was hosted to ensure the stadium is working well.
